Our 7th Grade Concert Band had the amazing opportunity to perform for the students at Haycox Elementary! The energy was electric as the crowd clapped, cheered, and danced along — especially during our rendition of “Funky Town.” We loved sharing the joy of live music and inspiring future Blackstock Bears to choose band as their elective next year!
¡Nuestra Banda de Concierto de 7º grado tuvo la increíble oportunidad de presentarse para los estudiantes de la primaria Haycox! La energía fue contagiosa mientras el público aplaudía, animaba y bailaba — especialmente durante nuestra interpretación de “Funky Town.” Nos encantó compartir la alegría de la música en vivo e inspirar a los futuros Osos de Blackstock a elegir banda como su materia optativa el próximo año.

As part of Blackstock Cares Week, our campus hosted a powerful community giveaway event where clothing, food, and essential items were made available free to the public—thanks to the generosity of our incredible community.
A huge thank you to our Blackstock staff and students, the Oxnard Police Department, and Trader Joe’s for their heartfelt donations and support.
Special appreciation goes to the staff members who gave their Saturday to serve others and help make this event a success. This is what caring in action looks like.

What a show! Our talented student cast lit up the stage at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center with their incredible performance of Something Rotten Jr.
From clever dialogue and catchy musical numbers to over-the-top characters and show-stopping energy, the students delivered a performance full of humor, heart, and hard work.
A standing ovation to our performers, directors, crew, and families for bringing this hilarious and creative production to life. Bravo!
