As a class we will prepare and provide a tasting to those who attend. Please join us from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in room 31. Free. Child care will be provided.

Sensational Slime is an innovative, one-of- a- kind, STEM project embedded in best practices of teaching. During this project, students will collaborate in groups, think critically as they work through the project, use creativity as they design their slime and communicate the results of their final product. Sensational Slime is a unique lesson that addresses multiple Math CCSS standards while integrating NGSS and ELA CCSS. This lesson engages students in the learning process, is relevant to student interests, and connects the standards to real world experiences.

This is a friendly invitation and reminder that we will be holding our monthly Coffee Talk meeting on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 9 - 10 a.m. The Food Share produce distribution will take place immediately after the meeting. Our wonderful counselors have coordinated presentations about Gang Awareness. As usual, we will have free pastries, coffee, and childcare available. This week over 500 8th grade students had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles to learn more about the Holocaust, confronting discrimination, hate and intolerance. It was a great learning opportunity for our students!
